About Me

I am a 4th-year graduate student pursuing neuroscience at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio now known as UT Health, San Antonio. I hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from University of Mumbai (India) and a master’s in pharmacology from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis (USA). I have been in the United States since 2013 and have a breadth of experience in everything pertaining to graduate student education including applications, admissions and recruitment for both master's and doctorate level programs. I am actively involved in student activities, have worked on multiple initiatives to help student success and have represented the voice of the students at multiple different levels including the University of Texas system student advisory council. I currently live in San Antonio with my wife and enjoy a happy work-life balance. While I am in the laboratory, I aim to solve puzzles of the hippocampus and spatial memory deficits in animal models but when I am away from the lab, I enjoy my time in travelling, cooking, photography and education consulting.
