Hitesh is a business graduate from a premium business school, IMT, India. He brings in 25 years of experience in managing FMCG, Consumer Durables, Telecom and Media businesses. His experience is not confined to one particular industry and this has given him varied experience of managing customers and environment across cultures and geographies.
In his last assignment, before starting his own EdTech company, Kimyo Learning, Hitesh has done a long stint with Bennett Coleman (largest media conglomerate in India) group for fourteen years.
In Bennett group, Hitesh joined ENIL (Radio Mirchi) in 2003 from Bharti, Airtel. ENIL is the only listed entity in the Bennett group. He was the COO for the business for three and a half years and managed a team of seven hundred with offices in thirty-two cities. He was part of the four-member team (Chairman, CEO, CFO and Hitesh) that handled Radio Phase 3 auction and acquired the radio unit of India Today group. After ENIL, he moved to Brand Capital business where he handled national portfolio of Brand Strategy function advising Brand, Marketing solutions to entrepreneurs. He also headed Brand Capital East and new operations at SFO.
